We can say that the air compressor is the main part of any air brake because it helps in compressing atmospheric air to the pressure according to the user and then transfers this pressure into the storage tank.
This tank helps you to store atmospheric air at very high pressure. It is another most important part of the air brake. The work of the storage tank is to decrease the burden of the air compressor because when the brakes are applied from time to time while running the vehicle, the air compressor is overworked and cannot perform this task alone. So in this situation storage tank can help the air compressor.
We can say that brake pedals are the input device for any air brake. The driver uses it and is situated in the vehicles adjacent to the accelerator. They work as an input device for your break and help you apply break by using your feet. It helps to apply break and put input motion to your break.
It is a piston-cylinder that is directly connected to the brake pedal. When the brake is applied through the brake pedal, the brake actuator helps in creating pressure throughout the assembly.
Safety Valve:
It is the safety component attached just next to a storage tank, and it saves your tank from bursting because of high air pressure. It is the most important need of an air brake system because the air compressor works continuously, and this storage tank also works. So for keeping it safe from bursting, we use a safety valve.
Dirt Collector:
It is another important part of the air brake system, and it is a very small device. It is very helpful in collecting small dirt particles and then separated from the air filter.
